Well I think todays project (small one that it is) is to remove my SE II pipes and install the stock ones. Then pull off the Power Commander. I love the performance and the sound BUT, my garage is below the neighbors bedroom window and leaving for work at 6am must piss em off. They are retired oldsters and he mentioned that he is surprised that I take the bike on "very cold and EARLY mornings". I think he was giving me a message in a nice way. So, since they are nice people, I'll give them a break for a while. ;)

Funny you mention high beams. I've seen more and more inconsiderate people in this part of the state with them on too. Must be lack of education these days. After all, every A hole gets a license these days. Requirements are down.

Think I'd like to meet them - might be a positive influence on me!:roflmao: Kudos for having some consideration for others. That's rare these days!

My driveway is an up hill push to get out to the street otherwise I would do that. I'm getting too old to push a 700 + pounder up hill. Besides, come summer I'll buy them ear plugs 'cause the pipes will be back!

It takes about 10 minutes for the exhaust pulse to get from the exhaust valve to the outlet of the muffler now! It's pretty amazing. The bike runs well however. I guess since it has the other features that came with the 95 upgrade. The wife will like the occaissional ride better also. She didn't like the noise in her ears!

Mmm, well, that's what ear plugs are for! Yeah, I guess those mufflers you put on can be pretty restrictive. I hear that the less obstructions in the pipes, the better the motor breathes.

That's too bad you have to go uphill to get out of your driveway. Maybe you could park the bike in your livingroom and have a straight shot to the street? Ha-ha!
My neighbor down the road actually parks both his bikes in a room off his kitchen. Built a ramp so rolls a bike off it and gets down the highway. Of course, he's not married anymore! True story.
