I purchased the ez screw and the cvp elbow for my 05 electra glide, my carb has a brass elbow from the factory and was wondering about the new install process and the potential gains? thank's for your input

The gains by adding the new elbow are typically realized at wide open throttle or during rapid acceleration. The large capacity inlet allows for the maximum amount of fuel to be delivered and prevents the bowl from starving. The stock brass inlet from the factory is certainly a step up from the plastic elbow but can still experience starvation under the right (or wrong) conditions.

I suppose what it really comes down to is how badly you want to work to replace it. The solid brass elbow takes a little bit more muscle to remove but it's not impossible. I've had luck pulling them by locking the elbow in a vise and twisting the body.
