Had a older Vizio TV that the sensor went out.
Ya couldn't change the sound without hitting up aND walking to the tv.
    Same thing turning it off.

I have always heard Samsung & LG makes the best TV'S years ago.
So I seen Best Buy had a Samsung Led tvs on sale.
Went & got a Best Buy credit card & brought a 60" 4k Samsung tv home.
Had a great picture. But I couldn't hear the people talk.
Fck being hard of hearing has it's good points & it's bad points.
I took the TV back, complained about the sound. They said Samsung puts in very small speakers & they throw the sound backwards on the floor. Great.
I said my older Vizio had speaker over 5 times better.
TV man said the #1 TV is a Sony, #2 tv is a Vizio.

He showed me a 65" Vizio that was 100.00 cheaper than Samsung.
He was telling me about the 70" & how good it was.
But didn't have it in stock.
    It was marked down 400.00
It would take 3 days to git it in
I got the 65" and brought it home.
Dauym it was taller than thw rest
    Nice Tv.
I called Vizio on the phone & the lady was saying she just bought a 70" & football was the bomb to watch on it
I got a 200.00 gift card from a depth finder I bought a few months ago.
And made some money helping g put up a fence.
So I went back to BestBuy & paid the difference on thw 70".
They are suppose to deliver it tororrow , set it up & pick up the 65".

    Always wanted a Big Tv.
This is a Birthday present to me from me.
Sitting here waiting on tomorrow for them to deliver it.

Guys right, in order to make the TV's look sleek and make the picture appear larger with a narrow box around it they put the speakers facing down from the back, you can't hear shidt from them doesn't matter the models.

Vizio had speakers in the front bottom facing forward and were easy to hear.

I bought a soundbar for the tv in the garage, you couldn't hear it without the thing, tiger direct has sound bars, refurbs for $50 on sale all the time.
hook it up with fiber optic cable to the tv or cable/sat box, the sound
is amazing without all the stereo setup, sounds like a theater, you can get
sound bars with sub woofers too...

add that to your 70 and you'll never get out of the bean bag except to pee
    and grab a fresh beer.

Last few years of my dads life my mom swore he was deaf. He really got good at not reacting to her. I think that's how it made it a little longer.

I didn't respond so my plan is working...

Also have been tweaking the can't remember shit phase,
forgetting to get stuff on the way home, who called etc
gives me a great out when I really do leave crap on the table etc...

I have the same hearing problem with Mac the Wife. I hear everybody else just fine . I have a 32" Vizio and have been considering getting a bigger TV. I like to listen with earphones, but I had to install the jack. Sounds great and I can watch late at night when everybody else is asleep and not wake anybody up.

Yeah, prices around here are pretty good, too. I was thinking somewhere in the 45" to 48" range. Our living room is small.

Sound problem is because of design change to have a wider screen
with narrow frame, they all suck, doesn't matter the brand because
the speakers are facing down, not forward.

Josh HH Gregg is having big sales this weekend, 48 non brand Haier
is $298, get a ROKU and netflix and you'll be set.
