ECM problems

    I have a 1998 ultra and my ECM went out which is a discontinued part. I would like to know want all I need to change from feul injection to carburetor. If anyone can help me please do.

    Anything over 10 years and manufacturers tend to stop making parts

    I would check Ebay, google harley davidson salvage, there are still late Evo
    EFI bikes running around should be able to find one.

    If you want to convert to Carb you'll need

    Carb - get a Harley CV carb
    Intake Manifold - get a harley cv intake
    Gas Petcock with adapter for EFI tank or Carb Tank
    New Ignition and coil

    I'd suggest getting a Carb main harness for your bike otherwise
    you'll be cutting and splicing the EFI harness cleaner you will have the
    tank off anyway, so just swap them, dump the EFI harness and bits
    you won't need.
