I have been thinking about changing the exhaust out on my Road Glide for some time. Problem is that I next to refuse to put a 2-1 system on my bike. For hoots and hollers I went on the Basanni website and I found an exhaust that looks interesting. Not sure if I like the looks of it but it's interesting. It is called the Power Curve.

Anyone here ever hear of it?

Here is a picture of the part where I am worried about. It is that loop coming out of the rear cylinder out the right side of the bike. I understand what they are trying to do but not sure i like that look.

Your picture is not real good are you talking about this style. If so yes I've heard of it, know of it and it works very good on a true duel system.
Those who have it like it very well. I'm sure there will be varying opinions here but they do work well.

Yes that is it. It should work well as it is a stepped header. Just loop thing makes me nervous.

I agree about the loop. That's just weird.

I agree, I don't much care for the look much but if they work as advertised, I am willing to compromise. Have you ever heard a set in person?

As Charlie46 they are trying to keep the primary tube length as close as possible. Hope it has GREAT heat shielding in that area does not get much breeze and kind of close to the pass.

I've known several guys who have had them. They also sound good with the right muffler. I know they help produce better power.
The looks are not all that bad and they aren't all that close to the legs.

Yeah equal length pipes are usually a plus. I like my pro streets that I have on my Sportster. Equal length there as well

if you like that its great but touring can get old

run their headers and supertrapp slip ons for best tuneability

nope the really cool looking disks that allow a tuner
to fine tune the exhaust to the engine and make
way more power without that dip in the middle
    makes duals easier to tune.

Going fast ain't all about being a magpie...

Going fast isn't really my number one goal. By the way what dip? There is no dip in my power curve with the true duals I have now. WTF?

LOL. I actually am considering the Supercraps, just haven't done a more thorough search yet.

I really like the fact that these pipes are stepped, a huge improvement in that by itself.

I will put aa hundred bucks .on it that if you put tjat toilet seat piace of shit ugly ass pipe on your road glide that you loose power up top .for sure .ill put 150 .00 dollars on it .but you have to do back to back pulls on the same dyno and no tunning changes .just put the pipes on and make the pulls . Wont make a bit of diffrence as far as tunning goes cuz you have a carb and it pulls off the manifold and your on the main as far as ve go. Please dont put that ugly ass pipe on a road glide!
