I am working a 1970 Hydra Glide my question is the Hydro Glide frame the same as the 1970 Electra Glide? I am looking to replace the Steering Head Bearing and seals. I tried to adjust them and it worked a little but looks like it was rode more than is should with lose bearings. Any help would be great.

Thanks Badinfluence63, guess this is not a Hydra Glide in 1970. Must be just the front tins for it on the forks. So my question still the same are all the FL frames the same for the head bearings?

Knowing Harley's penchance for getting the most out of each part to keep costs down I would guess it does.

Lil late to party, but I just checked my parts book for my '03 RK.
All the steering head bearings and cups end with -60. Meaning 1960 was first year for those parts. So you can get part numbers for the bearings and cups and lower dust shield from your 96 FLH parts book...

Upper dust shield and bearing adjuster are -80 part numbers. Everything else has been in use since 1960
