    Mac the Wife's recipe for french toast . . . .
Need I say, you should begin with a loaf of HOME MADE bread
sliced as thick as you like.
One large egg per 2 slices of bread.
    Add cinnamon to taste.
    Add real vanilla to taste.
    Add Kahlua to taste.
Mix all ingredients in big, shallow bowl and soak bread slices and
drop in pre-heated cast iron skillet.

Had some this morning. Great with real butter & real maple syrup.
    Wash down with coffee.
It's real easy to eat too many!

I think there's a Crackerbarrel in Greenville, about 40 miles distant. Don't get that way often, but when we do, I'll remember to get some! Thanks!
Mac the Wife likes Kahlua in a lot of things!:D

I'm gonna try and get my Bike Week host to drum up some of Mac The Wifes french toast! He's always been a good egg. Shouldn't be too much a problem.

Yeah, anything made with sweet potatoes is southern cuisine sho nuff. Bet the pancakes would be great. Gettin' hungry - guess I'll have to settle for multi-grain pancakes this morning. Mac's already at work so I'm gonna whip up a batch.
