Turned out pretty good to my eye. I really like the subtle difference the tank lift made. Now I just need to change the oil and filter, wash the air filter, change the spark plugs and give it a bath for it to be ready for me to ride once my foot finishes healing.
It started raining so the bath part will have to wait. I may still do the service this afternoon.

I see no reason why not. The mount

HARLEY TOUR PAK MOUNTING KIT DYNA,SOFTAIL,SPORTSTER : eBay Motors (item 130364974140 end time Feb-12-10 22:19:27 PST)

I got was to fit your stock sissy bar rails.
I will caution that I had to redrill the tour pack and the plates that came with it to fit the the mount. but the tour pack vendor does sell a mount that should fit for a little more.

Good luck finding what you want.
I can't afford to buy the High dollar stuff from the dealer so I shop for what I can find.
This Trunk is not the best I've seen but for the price and the effort to mount it It'll do for me right now.

Those little T packs will hold up better then you think , I had one for a few years ,& it works just fine the top will rattle after a little time , so I put door jam trim for a car on it & that worked & is still working ,I sold mine to a guy who runs it on his dyna & he sure likes it on road trips ,I got a second one from a member here & gave it to my son who still runs it on his 99 E gilde

Yeah, I noticed those pads were pretty stiff.
Told my GF if they weren't good for her I'd put some softer foam in them.
But she may prefer the harder back support considering her back so I'll see how she rides with it before I do any more work on them..
