Ollbill, OlBob, Maddog and myself rode up the Clackamas River and up the back way to MT Hood traveling up back roads through the National Forest, what a beautiful day for a ride today. Weather was perfect 80F.

Rode my new to me Yamaha 07 FJR, sweet riding bike and corners are a breeze. Maddogs black FJR is sitting next to me in the last photo.

We stopped for lunch at the Huckleberry Inn and had a late Breakfast. ollBill had a Chili Cheeze burger.

I do like it a lot but just have to many motorcycles in the shop. Hard to get the Mustang in and I don't ride it now. It's a very fun bike to ride but also don't like the 4 carbs and chain drive. Besides I've now got the Yamaha FJR a very smooth wicked fast sport touring bike.

Well as I said I don't like the 4 carbs and the chain drive. Like someone I know told me now that you have it running very well now it's a good time to sell it. Yamaha handles better in the corners and you can be doing over a hundred so fast it's scary. Not that I'll do that but if I want to get around a cage I can do it before they even know I'm there. I also like the electric windshield that I can lower or raise it to what ever level you want. The Triumph will make somebody a very nice sport tourer for a descent price.

Oh by the way we had another spammer that came on last night.....zapped him to.

Yeah got one the day before, we should change our avatars to
ww1 or ww2 plane cowlings with he number of kills....

I've ridden the FJR nice, plenty of power but I couldn't
stand the engine, while lots of HP up top you have to give it
rpm to take off, unlike the HD which you can let out the clutch
at low rpm's and chug off with torque power the Jammahamer
needs a bit more throttle, stalled it a few times LOL

Sure you'd get used to it and the bike is nice..

Not sure what year or maybe this was your first time. I've not had that issue at all. There were a couple of years where there was an issue with a very stiff throttle spring. I did have to lube the throttle cables as they were pretty stiff.

I like your idea of the WWII fighter planes. These guys are just trying to harass us I think and we will just have to knock em down when we see em.
