Good luck with the paint Chuck. Lookin forward to see what ya come up with. As usual I'm sure it will look great.

Did a little project on my saddle bags, got yid of the saggy bags. Wife got me the inserts from "Got Saggy Bags" for Christmas. Here's a few before and after pic's. Installation was a breeze. Haven't put the inserts in the lids yet, to cold in Michigan right now for the glue to set.

Looks like the lids squared up also. The lids on mine have sagged like yours have in the before picture. The body seems to be holding up so far. What does the insert look like?

Inserts are black ABS plastic with a textured finish. I'll take some pic's of the inside of the bags and post them.

I put the same kit in my wife's Heritage bags. Yours came out looking a lot better. I was prety happy with the job I did also, but the bags were a lot more weatered. There was a lot of shrinkage, and that made getting the inserts in pretty tight. The bags came out very good, the lid are OK, but still have edges that are real curled. Overall...excellent improvement in bag look and functionality.
