    Maddog and I are pointing the wheel and heading out this morning. Only one reservation and that's in Sturgis at the same place HarleyLR will be at but at different times. No plans just wandering around the western states. :D

    Hope you didn't send them to my house, the wife is still there.

    One guy learned a hard lesson today. He packed a heavy bag and strapped it to the top trunk rack. Guess what happens when you open it real quick, yep it slipped out of his hand and went over hard. First it snapped the cord off then with all the weight yep it broke the top lid off. The hinges held but the plastic all broke out and the top lid hit the ground. That's going to be expensive.

    We rode through the complete center of Oregon to Ontario just on the Idaho boarder. Was 95 plus today and we drank tons of water, never had to pee. :)
    I think we'll stop at the big HD shop in Boise then head up into the Salmon river mountains of northern Idaho.

    Yeah you got to watch that, buddy has an 11 like mine
    hd doesn't use fiberglass anymore, the new composite
    pieces save weight but his cracked on the side by the
    hinges when it was new, HD replaced it, similar issue the
    top flopped over but nothing was loaded in or on it.

Beautiful ride and finish today going through parts Hells Canyon and spending the night on Grangeville ID. Will head up Hwy 12 tomorrow that's rated on the top 10 motorcycle roads on the country.

    there's some great riding there. highway 12 over lolo is a nice ride, lots of sweepers. We camped at the KOA in Missoula, walked to Famous Dave's for some decent BBQ. I don't think there's a bad thing on the menu. Nice Harley shop there too. Have a fun and safe ride.

    Hwy 12 was a blast except for the areas where they had just put down chip seal.
    In Gillette WY tonight. We were greeted lightening storms and a lot of rain/dime size hail in the Gillette area. Made it in just as it started. Streets were flooded from the rain.
