I'll be going to Nashville this morning. No, not the one in Tennessee, but in N.C. LOL. Still, it's a solid half day ride there and back. Tattoo is helping me repair my mower carb and I'm going to go pick up the parts. Any excure to ride, right? The carb's in bad shape and came that way with the used mower I bought last year. Next I must replace the dry rotted tires & muffler. Lots of maintenance between my bike, truck & mower..

Anyway, it gonna be sunny, in the 80s, and should be a fine day for a ride.

Yup, it was a good ride. Next day put in 150 miles with Tattoo & some other riders. We ended up in several biker bars. It was a long day, the riding being by far the best part. I don't care for the bar scene anymore - spent over 20 years in them as a musician in various bands.

Anyhow, my bike is running like never before, and I'm getting out every good weather day to ride. We have some really nice country roads around here, very light traffic and lush green scenery . . . corn, tobacco, cotton, soy beans, all kinds of stuff growing in the fields.

Sure does! It's so green & lush. Stuff is growing everywhere. If anything negative could be said about this beautiful area I live in, it would be the pesticide spraying. We have a very high incidence of people catching cancer, and many feel it's because of the spraying and the contamination of the ground water.

We use Brita filtered water here in our house. As for breathing it - well, there's not much one can do about it. I'm not gonna walk around with a respirator stuck to my face LOL.

That stuff is pretty well monitored these days, not like
    the days of old...

Bet most of it's due to the large number of smokers....

Brita filter is a good idea, we're toying with putting a whole
house system in, FL city water is clean but tastes crappy..

Go with reverse osmosis unit if you do. had a Kenetico unit in my last house. $$ but VERY good. Now the muneciple water is using reverse osmosis so no more need around here.

Glad you had a good trip Joshbob sounds like a good ride. That's something the people in cages miss is the smells of the forests, flowers and sometimes we get to smell an occasional dairy barn (could do without that). As for water a Brita filter, they work pretty good.
