I was trying to figure that one out to. I looked at the touring bikes and don't see any difference between the 14 and 15 models except for color. Many of the 15 colors I can't say I much care for.

    I found the difference John

We added premium 1 inch lowered front and rear suspension on the Ultra Limited Low motorcycle, moving it closer to the pavement than it is on the Ultra Limited motorcycle. It not only gives you a low-slung look, it drops your center of gravity for easier more confident handling and puts your feet that much closer to the ground when you're stopped. The ride, though, stays smooth, thanks to premium components tested and proven over miles on the test track and on the open road.

There are other features for the low that works well like lower seat plus other features. Go to the Ultra Limited Low and you can choose between the standard Limited and the low. Click on the low and it shows all the features for it.

I liked the wide glide because of the spoked wheels. Also liked the Sporty "48" and "72" for the same reason. I'm a sucker for the spoked wheels. Pretty cool bikes. I didn't realize Harley had so many models out.

Now you can customize some of them. I think if they dropped the ground clearance on those bikes they're trying to get to look like choppers, they would have even more appeal. All in all, pretty darn cool.

If I were to buy a new touring bike it would be the Road King, but with spoked wheels. No easy chair or trunk or towing ball LOL.

Also like the Soft tail Slim very much and good price, too.

Well Josh..easy to say if you do not ride for multiple days or weeks. all those items you dissed add amenable touring comforts. You left out cruise,GPS,XM ,weather band and othe such useless tools for someone who stays close to home.

Yep. And that's why the product line looks quite extensive. Something for everyone. I find it neat that they have the new 1200T Sportster, which is kind of close to what I have with my quick release HD windshield and bags. I'm a bit with joshbob on the amenities, as I like things simple, like me, and prefer to hear the rumble over the radio.

Yep, different strokes for different folks. I love the bagger as I do a lot of distance riding and its extremity comfortable and convenient.

Strew Glide on my opinion has one short coming. The rear shocks.

They don't say that they lengthened the rear suspension travel on the Street Glide.

Never took it that way ;). I know my opinions about certain, what I like to call, "modern inconveniences" is in the minority around here. I'm ok with that. I have great fun stirring up a little shit once in a while LOL - always with a sense of humor.

If I had a good back, I would be willing and able to ride my scoot to California and back, no problem, without any of that extra stuff. Just my style, that's all. I looked more into the Softtail Slim and that would be the bike I would buy if I were buying a new one.

If the new bikes went to rear air shocks great! Past street glides had short stiff shocks.
