Want to put on a new header pipe on my 2014 CVO Ultra this winter and am wondering which is better and why. Fullsac or V&H. The Fullsac price is higher than the V&H.

This is to replace the stock head pipe with the CAT system in them. They are the new crossover X pipe design.

Nice thing about the fullsac is the stock headers fit it, and it's ceramic coated and a stepped header. O2 bungs are in the correct place and properly shielded inside.

The baffles in the stock cans come out with a little dremel work
on a couple of spot welds, then you can shove in the FS baffles I run the mid size on the left and the larger on the right, seeing that the turn is 90 degrees to the left muffler through a flat tube, that way I get the pulsing needed to move air and more flow (2-1 ish) with the larger baffle on the right.

    Sounds good.

He will also do a core exchange with your stock header, you will get one that has had the cat cut out and welded up, you send him yours with the cat in. Less expensive, but it fixes the heat problem, then you can do the FS baffles as well.

I didn't see that info on his web page about exchanging your header for one that has had the cat cut out. I've done that myself on old stock Harley mufflers when the cat was inside the muffler.

its not "published" but if you call they will do it,
it helps with the flow and heat by dumping the cat

My only issue was that buying the new header
lets me go back to stock if I want so the old header
    is still in the attic.

Neighbor did it, we swapped it out one night, no
big deal, you will want to get the baffles as well.
