    H Everyone,
I'm going to attemp to convert a 883 to a 1250. Was wondering which company is best to get kit from. Would it be NRHS, Hammer Performance or zippers? Maybe there is one even better. I would like your input and the reason why you feel that company is the best.

Decided to take the plunge finally? :D I guess I am real impressed with the HD Se stuff, although the jugs that I have are from V-Twin. I have heard, and it has been a while since I have heard this but I had heard that NRHS was having issues with their nickle-sil (sp) linings on their jugs.

Do you have a basic idea of what kind of power you are looking for? Stock 1200 power or something a little more?

This is a bike I picked up yesterday at a real good price.:) I thought that I would try and get as much power as I could get out of it. 100 maybe 120 HP.
That was one reason I was looking at hammers. Maybe a 90 ci. Thanks for the input.

To get that kind of power you will most likely going to have to bore the case to get parts to fit. NRHS has these kits available. Are you looking to use HD parts or whatever?

It doesn't matter to me which company or brand as long as they will hold up for a long time.
By the way have you decided on a bike yet?

yes, it is going to be either an 011 or an 012 Street Glide. Not sure about colors and other options at this point.

Here, browse this site and take a look at what they have to offer. If you decide to go with HD stuff, I can direct you to a really good shop that will help you beyond your satisfaction.http://www.nrhsperformance.com/

Have you come any closer to a decision as to what you want to do with your new scooter?

I got a lot going on now so I think it may be best to sell it just to simplify some things.

    Thanks for the offer.

I meant to tell you that the bike I just bought is a 01 hugger. It has the vance and hines 2 into one. Man it sounds awful. Nothing like my vance and hines long shots on my sportster sport.

yep, at first when I started riding it I thought I had made the dumbest decision on those because they do stick out a little far, but now I have no problem wrapping the leg around them and staying clear and comfortable. I do get a lot of compliments on those pipes as well. If you were to go with those, do not use anything but the BCT Monster baffles, the ones that are recommended for the vipers SUCK!!!!
