We been colder to, got down to 35 last night. We might get a touch of freezing rain tonight but think it will mainly be in the Columbia gorge. No snow and we usually don't get any here in the valley. But sometimes Mother Nature surprises us.

I'll bet you won't ride in 51F, in your own words you won't ride in anything below 60.

    Hmmm

It was colder than 51* this past friday when I rode to the Galveston Lonestar Rally,
Had my quilted chap on and my FXRG jacket and Shoei full face helmet on.

I choose when I want to ride.
But there was a rally. And I choose to ride.

I perfer to not ride in freezin weather.
My OL perfers not to ride in freezin weather also.

If you do knock yerself out.

When I used to work, I had to work outside all the time. My hands and feet got so cold at times I couldn't hardly feel them.
And People used to say I wished it would snow.
I would say if it snows. I hope the electricity goes off for a month.
Then lets see how you like the snow.
I have to work outside all the time.
And if it snows bad. I loose work.

. I have worked with my hands all my life, up north, where it's cold, outside 60 feet up a pole stringing line. I no longer string line. I still get to go outside 60 to 100 feet up , sometimes at 30 below and repair frozen gearboxes, conveyors, all kinds of stuff. That's what we do. I'll give you a little tip. Up this way generally speaking, in the winter when it snows it means the temperature is going up because of the cloud cover. When the clouds move away and the skies clear up, look out cause that's when you get the cold. I've seen where Welders outdoors used the torches to warm their boots up it was so bloody cold. It's a little easier now, the gear is much better than it used to be. I'm looking at your temperature right now and it's flashing 34, I'm guessing that's a damp cold..that would be crummy.

I couldn't imagine the pain from y'all cold. Or working up high & it being cold.
And yes I'm 125 miles from the gulf. And I Live One House From A lake.
    Humidity here Is Usually High
This time of the year it's not usually this cold.

    With all the new gear
    It still gits cold.
I got poor circulation in my feet.
1st thing that Gits cold is my feet.
    Then my hands.
From there I don't last long
    My feet start really hurting.
