Now that my last major ride for the season has been completed, I am now turning my attention to other work and upgrades need for the Road Glide. The list is short, but excited for them all.

The major change for this winter and upcoming riding season is that I will be changing over to a different exhaust. On advice from Dan Thayer, I purchased a 2-1-2 system from Khrome Werks. This exhaust was intended for when I switched to EFI with a 124. Well, I haven't converted it yet and won't do so until the 124 is built. As such, I want to at least use the exhaust system. BaggerPaul gives a thumbs up on this system as well.

The next thing needed is I need to replace the choke. A little sticky. Along with this, I am thinking about replacing the oil pump and cam plate. I have contemplating on going to the Dan Thayer pump for sure but would like to use the S&S TC3 plate of they are compatible. Other small things need attention as well, but that's all for now.

    Thanks for reading.

Always room for improvement, I have a list also. Third gear is becoming iffy when cranking on my R/K looking at options.

The rear arm that connects the shift rod to the Trans behind the primary
the technical name for it is Harley Davidson POS Pot Metal Cheap Ass Accounting Bean Fuggin Counter Shifter Thingy...

It's the light silver aluminum arm sticking up toward the back center of the inner primary cover.

Yeah, it's a hard choice sometimes, fish or ride. Retirement is difficult at times.

I don't know how you do it:rolleyes:lol, Sea Bass are taking over from the Rainbows up here, have a buddy that's trying to take care of as many as he can,but he says he just can't keep up!!
Been quite a few years since I've been out,but it was pretty awesome bagging a 3 or 4 lb sea run rainbow, especially on a fly...
How's the fight in a Bass??

I spent many years fly fishing for 'bows, Browns, Brookies, sea run 'bows, Browns and Brookies as well as steel Head and various salmon. I now stick close to home and since salt water is a mile from home that is my best now. I fly fish and spin fish for stripers, blue fish, Atlantic green back bonito, false albacore. Striped bass (stripers) here in the north east, rock bass midatlantic coast are strong swimmers that usually just pull strongly. Blue fish duke it out and fight like their on gallons of red bull. The best see the bonito and false albacore. Long and numerous drag screaming runs. BUT, salmon and female steelheads are faster!

Down in Florida and the gulf coast the Albies are called bonito or small tuny.
