I have a problem with my carburetor coughing during accelleration. It has done this since being new off the showroom floor. I've added the dynojet kit and this somewhat alleviated the problem, although it did not eliminate it.

You are likely running too lean in the idle to intermediate range. Unfortunately dynojet kits use a different emulsion tube, which means jetting is specific to their kit rather than that of a stock installation. You could try increasing the idle jet by 1 size or adjusting the mixture setting by 1/8 turn out.
