My friend just purchased a used 05 heratage 88tc. Only 8 thousand miles. The bike cuts out when it gets warmed up almost like it starves, he hits the throttle and it bogs then chokes and dies. He had it to a dealer and they reset and remapped the efi. but it still bogs out, Any sugestions or experiences here?

from what you have written, it seems the dealer didnt do any trouble shooting.....or testing after the remap. i would return and have it done again........or change dealers.

Hard to say for sure without more info. Pipes been changed? Cams? Was the bike stock when he got it? Could be mapping, could be something as simple as varnish in the tank from the winter storage plugging up the tank screen.

Being a 2005, it should still be under warr...... might want to tell them to fix it. ;)
