10000 mile service

    whats the going rate for a 10000 mile service.. gettin close and just want to be ready

    I'd like to know that also, Just the oil, filter and plugs run me about $65.00. Just wonder how much i'm saving in labor.

    I'm thinking around 600.00. If you can, save some money and do it yourself, not hard. :)

    I thing it says in the service manual just what all they check & adjust /change & if you can do it you;ll save a good bit of cash

    Most Dealers have a price list, I've seen 10K's from $400 to $600+

    Really depends on the labor rate.

    Get the SM and much of it you can do yourself with simple tools
    a lot of it is inspecting and knowing of course what to look for.

    You can do the 10K yourself, the cost should be limited to the fluids
    and filter and some lubricants for cables etc.

    It's really not that hard to do....

    550 in NE Indiana - most of that is labor. Best get the manual and do it yourself.

    thanks for the tips, I think Ill invest in a service manual and give it a shot ,besides the $$ I might save on labor means I could spend it on more stuff (CHROME!!!!) for my bike
