I would like to thank all of the Vets also, the price that they have paid gave us our freedom.

My wife is a teacher in NC. Superintendent who just retired is Viet Nam vet... made sure Veterans Day was a holiday. Teachers were asked to make sure the day was brought up in some way in their class. So wife found several cool youtube videos. When she got to school to try to pull up, found the school intra-net had the word veteran blocked. Sad state of affairs.

Was that a personal thing with someone at the school, did she ask why? Pretty poor though.

Well, I don't know. The intra-net access is county wide. She says normally the blocked things make no sense. Often, really hard when trying to do research. She is a Social Studies teacher, so research is needed by students.

My wife also taught school and also taught computers in grade school. (those kids were sharp) She said that they would put certain words into the system that would block some things from being searched. They had one kid who typed in a innocent word and it brought up these porn sites. She said the kids were trying to hid it for fear of getting into trouble. Seems they could not get out of the site and then the teachers found out about it. Teachers all had a good laugh about it but not in front of the kids.
Still don't know why the veteran would be banned.
