117 build. Mechanic called said he started bike but bike wont run and idle.

    Find a new mechanic...Is he responsible for the engine?

    he says it starts runs somewhat rough and wont idle and must getting mapping for that big motor

    Then it is up to him to get it running correctly...Not your problem as I see it...

    So about your builder, has he done this before?
    does he have a dyno? it's not a shade tree job

    Is it carb or EFI...

    If Carb call SNS and order the IST ignition, it's self
    programming and will tune itself to the bike.

    Or you can call Jamie at Fuel Moto, order a power commander 5
    and he may have a map for you so it's ready to go...

    I am asking these questions independent of my builder for my knowledge. Yes he build motors. he built my 107 and many others and I trust him. It was late evening on friday when he fired it up and said he had to find a correct map for the big motor. closed sat,sun & mon. I have the TTS tuner and he has a dyno

    Me and the builder have no dispute about the issue. like I said I asked the question for my independent knowledge

    Ok he should contact Steve cole at tts master tune. The will have a close map
