1978 fx

    i would like to know if harley-davidson made any fx's in 1978? and if so are there any pics of them that i can see to compare to my bike? i have been having a hard time finding out just what make it is. thank you

    they made the fx from 71'to 82'. From 66' to 80' the shovelhead motor was refined almost continuously, from a generator to altenator and 5 differant oil pumps, that are not all interchangable so use caution when buying differant parts, watch out for starter shafts they very also. To find good pic's and info. go to a book store,Hastings are Brooks and Noble. check out your local mall's book store.
