I am wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram for the ignition switch. Im installing a 2 way toggle switch under the frame and i just want to make sure that im right. Im 99% sure its right, but were talking about my baby here. Also has anyone ever had problems with the clutch/throwout bearing being complete pieces of **** also? Either the clutch adjuster rod gets eaten out or the throwout bearing gets eaten up. Its a evo with a 4 speed and belt final drive, with 100hp. Any ideas would be great

As far as aftermarket parts, the parts that keep breaking are the little wafer throw out bearing, ive tried both styles, the little 1 inch rod end, and the tiny clutch fork. There are some aftermarket parts for that but none the better, they are simply a replacement of stock hd parts. I dont know if im doing something wrong or what. Ive had it to 2 different shops also and only get about 500-1000 miles on those parts

If you have a heavy diaphram spring, it could be what's breaking your parts. Went through that once. If the stock spring won't handle the horses, you might consider an aftermarket clutch. (Barnett Pro Clutch comes to mind.) I'll look for my wiring diagrams & get it posted for you today. Welcome to the site!

I also figured out what my problem was with my clutch set up today, thanks to the guys at ironhorse cycles. The plate that bolts down the diaphram spring has 3 different sets of holes to go off of. They all change the tension on the spring. I had mine cranked down on the lowest set of holes. Changed it around to the first set of holes and made sure i had.010 clearance, and it works perfect now. As far as the barnett clutch, has anyone used it in the evo/4spd combos? If so, how well does it work
