I had to replace the front rubber motor mount on my 1988 FLHTC dresser yesterday, and no where in my service manual could I find a torque spec. for the mount. Does anyone know if there is a torque spec. for it? I changed it with another OEM mount.
    Thanks,
    Snyde

    Hi Ken,
Then tightening it down with my 1/2 drive ratchet and a 6' pipe was a little much.:)
I guess I better loosen it up some. I could fine no reference to it in my service manual, so I tightened it up pretty good.
    Thanks,
    Rick

I was goona post that you tighten em down just before it snapped but didn't think you would like that.:). Tightening it down good and snug with the blue locktite like cowboy said should be good. I looked in my service manual to and didn't see any torque specs for one either.
