1989 883 conversion

    Hi ! I've ordered my 1250 Hammered performance kit with 30°the reverse dome pistons, Andrews v4 cams and sent my 883 heads to be smashed as well! ! My? Is being a 1989 what kind of electronics do i need such as far as ignition module 883 to a 1200 ,tuner or what?:witsend: do i get a 1200 ignition module or keep the 883 module?

    Sounds like you have all the right parts , as for a tuner unless your sporty has EFI & not a carb there are a few good ones out there , if you have a carb check out CV performance .com for the right jets ,& welcome to bike talk

    I have a carb! Do i need to get a 1200 ignition module or is it thesame as a 883?
