I want to change the speedo on my bike. I'm thinking about the aftermarket speedo/ tach. Will it effect my turn signal cancelling? and what is my ratio? (2:1 ?)

Without checking I think it's 2240:60. I don't think it will effect the self canceling, but I'm not 100% on that.:)

A service manual will be your best friend. I would recommend having one of those. I don't have that bike, SO, I can't even venture a guess. Hopefully someone can chime in that will be able to help!

:roflmao: :roflmao: I think I heard that before:roflmao:
The ratio for the speedo is 2240:60 on the Softails. Mine has the ultimate self canceler, I gotta hold the button in, but I'm pretty sure the self canceling is in the module that replaced the flasher units on the older ones, check the schematic. The only aftermarket ones I would consider is Auto Meter or VDO or you could get the Genuine HD one:rolleyes: , I found the other aftermarket ones to be a POS not accurate and don't last long. Kinda like the old saying "You get what you pay for"
