Is it just simply no power to it or is the Antenna cable unplugged.

Thanks for the fast response, I have power , but clock on radio lights , when I hit power button nothing happens , when I turn ignition on and off I hear clicking in the speakers. I just bought this trike it only has 3000 miles on it so I figured its highly unlikely radio is bad.

Also, you can call Radio Sound, the HD OEM supplier of the stereo on your bike. Their phone number is (502) 267-6768.

Have you pulled the outer fairing cover off and looked at the radio, wiring and connectors. Probably the first place I would start.

a 99 with 3000 miles on the clock.
either something is loose or you have a bad head unit,

It's obviously out of warranty, so you need a SM for the bike
with the electrical diagrams to diagnose.

Can you cycle through the options with the hand controls,
can you see the CD, FM, AM, WB options?

Can you see the vol control bar or other options?

If not then I'd say the Head is fubar'd, contact these guys
they do work on HD radios from fixing them to changing the display LED colors
    etc

    http://www.ironcrossaudio.com/

good rep, might have to pull it and send to them for refurb...
and if you do opt for the Iphone/Ipod cable conversion so you can
put an ipod on the bike and upload all your tunes

Could have something to do with the trike installation kit, pinched or disconnected wire.
