Had my 1st flat tire today since riding a motorycle in 1964
I was 27 miles from Home. Made it to the Hilltop biker bar.
Called a buddy to come and git me.
Back tire will have to be replaced.
I only had like 4000 miles on it.
Last back tire went 14,000 miles

Had nothin to do with the Brand of tire. I ran over a steel belt that a tractor had thrown off on the road. I was passing a car, there was no way for me to avoid it.
The steel belt poked a hole threw the tire.
I drove the bike 8 miles after I had the flat before I knew it was flat.

    Thanks Buddy.

I wasn't payin close enough attention.
And I had twisted the throttle on a big bridge with a truck coming at me.
I never seen the rubber alligator cause I needed to keep pace of what I was doing.
And I didn't have a lot of timeto waste
I thought I heard something in my top in make a noise. But it was what I ran over, I rode 8 miles thinkin something was wrong. The bike just wasn't riding right.
Well I figured right. cause when I geared down when I put my turn signal on.
    I felt it go goofy.
I hate having to ask my wife to buy me another tire, she just bought this one a few months ago.

Wow lucky you. Every tire I've ever had seems to be a magnet for nails, screws, truck retread, and road kill.

Here is what I found in my front tire the day after I got back from Street Vibrations in Reno this year. Scary thought riding 600 miles with a screw in the front tire.

Got "Ride On" in my inner tubes. They balance the tires very well besides keeping a tire from going flat. Glad you didn't have an accident, CB . . .
