    How is the performance of your cycle???

    Does it run and handle O.K.???

    The last couple of times I had a 'chirp' it was a loose part or doo-hickey.

    I'd start with looking at your mounts, and then the exhaust, air cleaner, fenders and any rotating parts. Hope this helps.

    are you sure the chirp is in the motor.

    Chirp may be coming from the belt, being loose, check the tension on the rear belt and check the primary chain tension. First two places I'd look then possible clutch plates need replacement if you ride it hard.

    Take a wooden dowl and touch the rear cylinder etc and listen for the chirp.

    If it makes it when the motor is in neutral then it's possible motor or primary related, If only when in gear and moving then the rear belt comes into play.
