    G'day all,
Just after some advice please. Had the bike from brand new since 20.
I have installed stage 1 kit a couple of years back and goes/sounds great!
Have just got a hairline crack for the secong time in join of pipes in rear cylinder. Cost about $500.00 each time. Only done 28000km.
The dealer said that I should look at Supertrapp and a Power Commander which will be like $1300.00 for exhaust and $600+ for the PC.
I like the twin exhaust I have but am told 2 into 1 system will stop cracks as vibration won't twist pipe???
After any advice please especially from people in the same boat.
    Thanks from Australia,
    Daniel

I had the same problem the year before last. I welded the crack up to make it through till winter. Then I had a choice to make...I was either going to go with the new (at the time) Vance and Hines true dual headers and run the same slipons I had, or get a two into one pipe.

My father in law made the leap to the V&H ProPipe HS first; but once I saw and heard it, I was sold and ordered one right away.

I am VERY happy with the looks and sounds of my propipe. Additional benefits are less heat on your thighs from the exhaust; and easier maintenance on items like changing out the rear tire. Now I just loosen the muffler clamp and disconnect the saddlebag support and I can flex the exhaust out of the way of the axle for a tire change. Much nicer than tearing off the stock exhaust system. :D

Thanks very much for your reply.
    Much appreciated.
Think I may go this way.
