2004 883 sportster jetting

    I have a 2004 883 sportster and been told that the bike came from the factory jetted lean at this time i have to ride with the chock on the cooler the temp. the more choke needed dose any one know what jets should be changed and what sizes to use and if needle clip should be reset

    I also have an 04 883 and I bought the CV kit that they recommend here and it worked really well. Factory pilot jet was .042 and kit came with .044. It also really needs to have the needle that comes with it because I originally just stuck a .045 jet that the dealer recommended and it helped but still wasn't smooth over the low end throttle. The combination new needle and .044 jet made it run sweet.
