I thought i did it right, but when I torque down all the bolts, my wheel is hard to turn. In the shop manual it says be careful of the left right spacers. I noticed traingular marks on spacers also. One spacer is londer than other. my question. which side do the spacers go onto(by lenght) and what do the traingles indicate if anything. Im new here, so don't be too hard on me. :p

Just put new wheels on my Deuce last night. The longer of the two spacers goes on the left side. Also, do not overtorque wheels! I think the specs was 55 lb/ft

    stupider question

Does it matter about the traingular notches on the spacers. I have 2 on each spacer. Also, my right fork can be pulled over to take up the space between shaft and spacer. Sound familiar.

    Thanks for the quick response.

Not 100% sure. I replaced my stock spacers with chrome ones when I put the Weld wheels on.

    I hope this helps

Hello, The diamond shapes go towards the outside, and yes I do believe the longer one goes on the left side. The torque on a front axle is 50 - 55ft. lbs. and 60 - 65ft. lbs. on the rear axle. If the wheel spins hard, try switching the spacers. REMEMBER to PUMP your brake when done!!!!!!
