I have new 883 sportster and it sounds like I have a lifter knocking. I have had it back to the dealer and they say that they do not hear any problem with the engine. Anyone else have a similar situation?

Hey there Hold M, Ummmm,,, well,,, , I hate to tell you this but All Harley's emit Noises of some type or another. It’s your bike though and a second opinion never hurts. Take it to another Harley-Stealer or indy-shop for that piece-of-mind second opinion.

The thing to keep in mind is that you brought the problem (if there is one) to the dealers attention. You have atleast 1 or 2 years warrenty on the bike. I would ride the hell out of the bike and if something goes haywire, it will be under warrenty. Ride Safe, David.
