    hello,

I am getting ready to go home for a break and my friend is asking me what type of fuel module to put on his 2007 Dyna.
He has only added a set of pipes so far and it is pooping a lot through the exhaust.
    Any Suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Bryan

we need more information. is it carbed or efi? was that the only modification done so far? I'm not sure what a fuel module is exactly, but on my carbed 04 Dyna, I had to re-jet after my new pipes were installed. That took care of the popping, either that or he has an air leak. tell him to check the pipes and make sure there are no leaks as well. That's all I can offer, I'm sure someone else will chime in and help.

Sorry, I just saw the "efi module line" in this thread.....(it's early here and I just got up) He could still have an air leak

I put a Thundermax on my bike and it really works great, before I went with true duals I used a Cobra FI2000 and that also was fine for a stage one bike, but since I put in cams and wanted to tune each cylinder individually I went with the Thundermax, If you shop around you can find them for under 700 dollars or less if you pick up a used one. I know it may sound a little steep but, you wont have to dyno which will cost you 300-500 so when you add that in it is probably cheaper, and if you ever switch pipes or cams you dont have to re dyno just switch maps and it will tune for you. I had a '05" Dyna with EFI and I used a Power commander. You can get them for around $325 on line and it worked great. Used the map right out of the box and it ran great. I had it dyno tuned and that got alittle more out of it , like 2 more hp after it saw tuned.

If you decide to go with a pc3,(power commander) check with Jamie at fuelmoto my buddy purchased one from him a couple weeks ago and got it for 269 and he loads the map for your application, best price I have seen and a good guy to deal with, Todd
