2009 Heritage Softail

    Wife wants to put on a pair of 1.75 Rush Slip-On mufflers on her 09 Heritage to get a better sound out of it. Can she get by with just the slip-ons or is she also going to have to change out the air cleaner and upgrade the computer program also?

    She can just put the slip ons on if she does not change the air cleaner to a high flow one. She might like the 2.0 baffle better, I've heard that many say they are a better sound and does not have the harsh rap to them.
    If you want better performance then changing the air cleaner out to a better flow one and some sort of air/flow mixture adjustment. There are a lot of them out there and some seem to be better than the Harley Race Tuner where you can do your own adjustments.
