Picked up a 3" air polisher at Harbor Freight today. Man hat little tool is great for polishing a bike. Polished both bikes in a short time. It took out some blemishes that were in the paint on my front fender of the Springer where the previous owner would rest the toe of his boot on.

The little polisher is on sale to, this is a great addition to the tool box and will get many uses. Comes with the backing pads, polishing wheel and buffer.

This little polisher is really easy to use and gets in tight spots. I figure for 28.00 couldn't go wrong.

i have used one similar for many years. mine is variable speed. works great. not sure on the price of pads, but i buy the big pads and took a 3" hole saw and chucked it up and turned it into a 3" knife. i take the pads and put it on some wood, chuck the saw in the drill press and cut 3 out of the pad......and there are several different styles of pads.....

I picked up a 3 inch pad kit at HF which is a better one than what came with the gun. The polisher is a variable speed. I waxed up both bikes with it, man one spot I had rubbed over and over by hand and never got rid of it. Well the polisher gun, took it out with some McGuire's #2 scratch and swirl.

a very good product for scratches and swirls is 3m hand glaze. paint supply has it. use it with soft cotton and do it by hand. it is also good for cleaning the new plastic head llights.......

I'm gonna score one of those when the traveling tool sale comes to town. Last year I got a DA sander for cheap too.
