In 1994 was just behind one that size not too far from there. Had taken my daughter, 10 yrs old at time to play in AAU Nationals in New Orleans. Raining hard, I was going about 40 to 45, people blowing my doors off. Just told the wife, this is going to get ugly when I noticed the lights of the cars in front of me looked funny. Finally realized they were going left and right...starting slowing. Just stopped maybe 15 feet from end of wreck, could see cars barreling down on us. Told my daughter to lay down and put pillow over her head and I braced. One Camaro came by me so fast, it rocked my vehicle but did not get hit. Cars on top of each other, some looked like they had been karate chopped. Saw the Camaro hit a guy trying to help someone, knocked him over the cars and down the road. Took a long time before hard rain did not make me break out in a cold sweat.
