I've got an early Shovel, that I'm re-working the pistons and cylinders (wrist pin came loose in 1 piston). I'm thinking about the JIMS top end oiling kit to up-grade my valve train, it includes roller rockers, new tappets, tappet blocks, and pushrods. It oils the rockers the same way the EVO does and you remove the external oil lines to the top end. It's a little pricey at over $900 from Direct Parts Inc. Has anyone had any experience with this kit and is the up-grade worthwhile? I'd probably go ahead with a new cam also. This is a stock engine and not a hot rod at all, but I'm thinking it would make it last longer.
