My 75 XL has a brass bushing inside the cam gear cover that supports the shifter shaft and its worn out. I cannot locate one. Anyone familiar with this part and know where I might find one? Thanks in advance. Russ

try a machine shop. they can ream the hole round, and install a new, oversize bushing for you. they may have to make the bushing also......but it can be fixed!!
