Hello guys, Please bear with me,as this is gonna be a strange question... Bought this bike, and it had no center stand...Bought one off ebay cheap, complete with spring, and some sort of "hook piece"... anyway, the frame ears had been bent up(evidently to get them out of sight) and I have semi-successfully bent them back down, and inserted the center stand tube...The bike now has a center stand....Woo-Hoo!...now the question.....
Where/how does the spring attach to the frame????.Cant find anywhere logical it should attach...anyone out there have one that could post me a picture? or something??? I do have a Service Manual on CD,but there is nothing concerning this directly....Thanks in advance for ANY assistance...:witsend:

there should be a little notch or small hole right above / around where the stand mounts ,

I would suggest putting it on the side stand then put the center stand in place and pull it up then take the spring and attach it to the center stand. Then lift the spring into the position that would best be suited where it should be attached to the bike frame. It should be there unless someone removed it. Also do you by chance have a repair manual for it.
