I just installed a new 5-stud 52 roller bearing clutch basket in to my 83 FXSB. I also installed new drive plates, and new kevlar clutch plates. The clutch is a dry clutch. My problem is that when I pull the clutch lever back, and put the beast in gear, the bike moves forward even though I have the clutch completed pulled. I adjusted the clutch cable and the adjuster nut according to the manual, and no luck. I thought that it might be the Kevlar clutch plates, so I changed them and to composite clutch plates, and it still does the same. I am lost for what to do, and I cannot put the old 3-stud basket, old drive and clutch plates because I have thrown them away. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do now?

    Excellent, Thanks!

Thanks for the info and the link. I won't be able to try this for a few weeks, but I will let you know when I do, if it works. I looked for the Ram-Jet retainer but on one website I found, it is only listed for a three bolt hub, and I changed mine to 5 bolt. Also, it mentions a clutch hub liner with "nylatron", and I can't seem to find that anywhere either. Any suggestions are appreciated?
