I'm looking for a cool air cleaner cover for a 97 EFI Road King. I have been told I have to be carefull to get a cover that is made for that bike or it may cause my bike to not run properly. Any imput will be welcome.
PS just got back from Sturgis 3000 miles in 5 days it was great!!!!!!

Good question. I don’t like most of what I have seen and there isn’t much out there that fits our EFI EVOs. Years ago I saw one that I liked in a bike shop (not stealership) that was similar to the stock cover but smooth chrome with a short row of louvers in the side. This was before I put on the Power Commander and I didn’t have a way of adjusting for more air flow. Although I doubt it would have mattered much.

I didn’t buy it and never saw one like it again.

As you can see from my avitar (you know – little picture up on the left) I did not make it to Sturgis. I hope you had a good time. Send some pics.

    What does avitar mean anyway??????
