Got a buddy with a 99 Road King, bike has 54,000 miles on it. He runs it hard.
Been hearing a noise comin from the motor. He thought it was the cam shoe tensioners.
Turned out the bearings on the rods are gone.
He had em to put everything in a box and going to pick it up.

Don't know if he's gonna git the flywheel repaired or git a new flywheel.

Don't seem like enough miles to have the bearings go out.

I know where he can get a set of trued and welded flywheels...

For sale, hot forged Twin Cam flywheel assemblies. Assemblies have been inspected, trued, plugged and welded. Wrist pin bushings in very good condition. I have two assemblies available, fit all touring models 99~06 and Dyna models 99~05. One unit has runout .0004"~.0005" $350.00and the other .001"~.0014", $330.00. Excellent for use with high torque and horsepower build. Grreat for gear driven cams. Assemblies come with inspection sheets and ship FedEx ground for flat rate of $40.00, USA only!! I can also supply Timken sprocket shaft bearings or "lefty" style bearing for assemblies.

I don't know if he still has the A motor flywheels last I hear he had B's.

Your friend should buy a set of 103 flywheels, ship them off to Bill at Bishops in MI
or over to John Sachs in Ft Lauderdale, top notch guy...

PM me for contact information on John....

    I run my bike hard.
If I can't run it hard I don't want it.
Ain't gonna ride it like a Old man.
    I ride like I live.
If it can't hold up, its gonna tear up and have to be built stronger.

    Yep, if that doesn't work
tell him to find a 103 crank
and replace the 88 crank and put on new pistons (95 inch bore) no case bore
and he will have a 103
