A Not So Interesting Story....

Well, I guess I just have to say that this last year has brought about a lot of different things. A lot of changes at work, have been fortunate enough to purchase some newer vehicles another bike and just recently a different home.

I was at work the other night and I had a chance to reflect on a lot of different things. I reflected a lot on where it was that I came from. What I mean by that is all the trouble that I had gotten into, the drinking and also the drugs. As I was thinking about them, I was able to remember clearly how I felt, both emotionally and physically. Those thoughts weren't very pleasant at all.

Anyways, I wanted to share this with all of you as you are all important to me. On Monday, June 11, 2012 (yesterday) I was so honored and have the privilege to adopted my daughter Mercedes. I have been the only father that she has ever known and as far as I am concerned, has always been mine. I don't usually talk about this type of thing openly, but I THANK GOD FOR BRINGING MERCEDES INTO MY LIFE!!

On top of this, today it is my 8th wedding anniversary. WOW, what a ride it has been! I look back and see where my wife and I started and look at where we are today. WOW, is this a dream?? If it is, I never want to wake up!!!

Well, ya made it past the 7 year itch! Congrats on all counts, Johnny. We'll be celebrating our 31st anniversary first day of summer.

Good stuff JB... most of us have things we would just as soon forget. But you are right, all of life is a gift.. and being thankful to the man upstairs is cool and right on. Just had my youngest graduate from HS Saturday, and celebrated 34 years in May with the wife (she is d_ _n patient). But most of all being wise enough to be thankful is a good thing... Good for you! CONGRATULATIONS!!

That's awesome bro congrats on adoption . And on the 8 years as well . And thanks for shareing it with us . God allways finds people in our lives to cross our paths and change us for the better . Look up to heaven and give thanks for your wife and kids and he has provided a good life for your family . I'm happy for ya jb !

A lot of things have changed in my life in the past 8 years that is for sure. I wouldn't give any of it back either. I hope that I can make it another 8 years.

Keep doing what your doing . You will and will be talking about it when we get grayer beards lol
