So, Today I went and qualified with the M-9 9mm pistol ...... I truely dislike the 9mm, but any excuse to play with guns is good for me, and today was no exception. To qualify, you must put 23 or 25 rounds (out of 45) on a human sized upper torso.... from 7 meters, 15 meters, and 25 meters. In order to shoot expert, you need 41 on paper, 25 in the 10 inch circle in center of chest, and 6 in the 5 inch circle center of "face/head"..... I ended up with 43 (but there was one area that had a hole, so I am thinking my 2 "missing rounds" may have participated in that as they all felt solid)..... 29 in the 10 inch chest circle and 9 in the circle of face. The rest didn't miss by much and would have resulted in SEVERE headaches or stomach upset/shortness of breath...... :roflmao: I had a good time, spend the entire day away from the office/floor/hospital, and spent about 3 hours outdoors! NEXT week is M-16 qualification!!! Been 10+ years since anyone has let me try qualifying with that!!! but qualified expert for 10-11 years with the Army with it, so it should be fun! Of course, this is all in preperation for my Beach Front (with no water) Vacation to Exotic Lands.......:gah: Oh well, can't win them all!!!

Well at least your making the most of your pre-arranged travel plans by having some fun with the training. Hopefully you won't need to use it.....but it pays to be prepared. We'll try and keep our biker vibes heading over with ya for moral support anyways.
