Put an Eagle Gen 2 led in my 2017 street glide with antenna in fairing. Lost most of my reception on FM. Put oem Daymaker back in OK. Some sort of bad JUJU interference. going to call them.

Curious why you would change out OEM daymakers?

I am putting oem passing lights like on your scoot for night time. did not care for look or cost of lights oem. Was looking to put in all 3 matching led lights on in black at a little less cost than oem. Get what you pay for.lol

Doesn't the DayMaker have a ballast installed on the bike to power it? (This could be an ignorant question, but I think I've read the need for one with the HID headlights.)

I think the ballast or amplifier (the watchamicallit lol) must be in an OEM Daymaker = higher cost. Eagle is sending me ferrite coils to put on the power wires as close to there light as possible. I believe no mater what type of light the power is a 12 volt source then used by the light. The conversion creates the interferance.

sounds to me like the Eagle used some non-shielded connections or
an electronic part that is putting out enough of something to interfere
    with your radio.

Daymakers are sealed units no additional transformers and I would
imagine that HD took signal interference into consideration when these
    were designed.

Rode last night, will say am impressed with the Day Maker. Puts out a wide pattern on high. Most likely will just say fudge it and spend the loot for Day Maker passing lights. Anybody want a real deal on light's???? lol. Will get a couple pics and post.

Went with the Daymaker on my old Dyna 2 Years and while at it did Leds all around on the Signal and Tail Lights .. Other than the V2 Daymaker all LED's were gotten from Custom Dynamics ..

Sometimes it pays to bite the financial bullet and go OEM.

LED's rule for headlights, properly setup they don't blind people
and you get a lot more visibility, clear white light.
