Ain't good news

    Got a buddy that works on a Ship out in the gulf. He said BP laid his companies ship off.
    There are a lot of ships tied up.
    Seems like a lot of big Oil companies and everybody went to Washington to try and Sue the Federal Goverment to lift the Deep Water drilling freeze.
    Well they got it lifted but the Federal Goverment will not issue any permits for deep water drilling. He said this keeps a lot of people in work too.
    Seems like there's gonna be thousands of workers laid off very soon.

    All the companies are waiting till after the 1st of the year to see what the new congress is going to do about this too.

    Said Yer President must be in with some company, cause he sent a few million dollars to Brazil to have them to do the drilling.
    Hows that gonna help the U.S. Economy ?

    So probaly is he wants to keep his job, he will have to go to Brazil or over seas.
    But can't understand why the United States Goverment don't want to keep jobs here.

    My question is, if we borrowed 800 Billion dollars to help Economy, why did we let Our Supposely President do this to us instead of keeping jobs here.
    What did President Obama git out of this.

    How many unemployed people from the Gulf can we afford to take care of.
    Then its gonna trickle to other parts of the oil trade. This is a lot bigger than most realize.... The Gulf Oil is super big business.......

    We don't even try to help our own people and we help other places.
    And now they are talkin about extending the retirement age and cuttin benefits.
    Hope it holds off till I can git my SSI in 2 yrs......

    But we spend millions in Hati on Borrowed money too....

    Write your congress and senators, don't email them

    WRITE it in a letter, polite, no rant or threats

    Just tell them to fix it and quit *****footing around...
