On my 2009 Harley Nightster I recently installed a Black Spike air intake and now on the bottom breather filter I am seeing some smoke or oil vapor coming out of it. I notice it the most when I am in heavy slow traffic when the bike is running the hottest. Is this normal and are there any fixes for it. I was thinking maybe they sent me the cheapest little filter they could find and that maybe a better breather filter would elimate this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ---Thanks---

i am not sure what the backing plate looks like on that filter. is the filter breathers open?? are the vapors being returned to the heads?? if not you may need to get a separate breather and tube and mount it to the rear and bottom of your bike..
