I was on a different forum and there was a topic that was discussing how friggen useless the ambient air temp gauge is on a bike an how they don't really work. Well, I happen to agree with that. So........

I am going to ask all of you greybeards, what would be a good gizmo to but in its spot?

OLD City Slicker Chucktx went down to NAPA and got a guage and some line and put a fittin in and stuck the guage in the bike and his works fine.
My limited came with a guage on the right bottom that is a Oil pressure guage..
It runs around 36 lbs of oil pressure

I found one from Harley, but it says that it isn't compatible with Chrome trim kit. That sucks because that is one that I need. How well do the ones that are in the oil tank work, can you see them decent while riding? This is the one that they say that it isn't compatible with.....Hmmmm, maybe I will be ok with the this one..... thoughts?

All Batwings and Rd.Glides come with oil pressure gauge. Just sayin I'd rather have an oil temp.instead of an ambient air temp gauge

Ya know I kinda like my air pressure gauge.
what does a oil temp gauge on a air cooled bike do.
It yer oil gets too hot yer gonna stop.
You want engine temp. Not oil temp.

Anyway I'm beatin around the bush
